Thanksgiving

Joyce came to visit earlier this week, and was with us for Thanksgiving Day. Cynthia joined us for dinner as well. We had our own table in the "Day Room" and we were served a nice meal of turkey (!), mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, yams, and cranberry sauce--all the traditional trimmings. Then we spent a little time touring the halls before Mom had her afternoon nap.

It is so nice to hear about you and see pictures of you. Good you had a Thanksgiving with part of the family. We too had a nice Thanksgiving with Ray and Linda. We don't need to say what we had, because we had the very same things as you had. I guess this is what everybody had. Tradition... I am starting to learn about things like this. :-)
We miss you and hope to come and see you soon!

Hi Grandma,
Glad to see you had Thanksgiving in such good company! :) We had Phil and Mary and Brian and his girlfriend Paula to our house, which was really nice. It was great to talk to you on the phone that day too. Call anytime! Love you, Anna
