Dear Iona,
What good pictures of you -- and Joyce too! Linnet wrote such a good report of your progress. Milltown I has ended! I saw many of your family there. Lael and Marietta sat right in front of me. It was wonderful from the very beginning to the end. The Lord is always so generous even though we are so unworthy. One little thought: Carol Dutton told us that the things that matter most should never be at the mercy of things that matter least. This will let you know I'm thinking of you. Love to you and the girls, Adah

Hi Mom,
Nice to see the new pictures and great to talk with you on Friday. We did have an outstanding convention at Milltown. We will fill you in a bit on that later.

Thanks, Linnet for the update! Love,

Phil and Mary

Mom: We think of you, although you haven't heard much from us. We heard much at convention that was very searching. With Emily, we learned to listen carefully while we can, because we never know when it will be best to go out. But I do think she likes convention already. I got to spend more time with her there than otherwise. When other nearby children are fussing loudly, she is usually very quiet. Love, Gordon

Dear Mom, we are sorry we don't give a "life sign" more often. This doesn't mean we don't think of you. We've just been busy with conventions lately. It is so different to be at the convention with a baby and also to prepare to go there and have everything we need. I can imagine how it was for you with more children and I appreciate so much your effort to raise so wonderfully your children. They are all such good people!!! Because of you I have now such a great husband and I want to thank you again for this.
We all love you!
